August 2008 Archives

Allan Gyorke and the rest of the team have wrapped up the work on the Copyright Perspectives website and videos. The site is really nicely done and the content there provides an excellent set of resources that can be used to help educate students to the details relate to copyright. I like the approach the team took -- not preachy in their tone. I think this could make a big difference.

The videos are great and I am so impressed with how professional each turned out. I decided to ask the team to place each of the three videos in the TLT YouTube space so they can be easily embedded on other sites. The latest video is included below. Thanks to everyone who made this such a successful project.

TLT Site

The team redesigning the TLT website released their efforts and the new site is live. I think it is a great step forward and will become quite the web presence as Audrey begins the process of integrating more of the TLT web universe into the new mix. For now, go check out the front page and take a peek at a few of the landing pages ... try blogging.

The Future of the Browser

John asked an interesting question over at his blog the other day about what our future desktops will look like in 2014 ... not sure this is the answer, but it is really interesting. A nice video demonstration of what our browser technology might look like in a few years. This is a demo from the folks at Mozilla. Interesting.
