At the beginning of this little project I really had no idea what I was doing or what the second, third, fourth level meant at all and I was pretty sure that my group was going to tell me that i'm stupid. Now, i'm not sure if they still think i'm stupid, but I feel more confident in contributing to the project because I have a better understanding of what we are trying to accomplish and how to do it. This is really how I prefer to learn. I prefer to learn with hands-on experience and learning by example. If I see someone else do something once, maybe twice, i'm fairly confident that I too can do what they have just done.
In general I am starting to become more confident with my place in this class and this college with each passing assignment, test, and grade that I have. I actually went to the library downtown and instead of getting the books I normally get that are simply pleasure reads and of no academic value, I picked up a few books that I am actually interested to skim through and see what else I can learn about my computer. I feel that once I have a better understanding of how my system works I will be able to better understand the way that other systems function.

It's great to see how you're progressing, Corinne. I also feel that hands-on learning is the best way to do it, and I think it' s highly respectable that you're taking the initiative to better educate yourself on your own.
Keep it up.

We don't think you are stupid at all! Lol. Seriously, I thought we did a great job pooling our talents. I think we as a group are progressing well... even you. Lol.

Well, judging by the success of the presentation today, I would say you don't have to worry about much. The beauty of learning at your own pace is that you choose what when and where. whatever interests you is fair game. A step further than that, it's your only game.. You will only learn when your interested. You'll be driven. I felt the same way a few years ago. My friends seemed to be doing some really cool things on computers that I couldn't dream of doing. I have invested a lot of time and taught myself some really interesting things... I actually told my mom to refer to one of my posts to see how to make hyper links in her new blog. I felt weird being the go to guy for once! Lol enjoy it, be a sponge**

I feel the same way. After every day here at Penn State, I am getting a little more comfortable and starting to get in a groove. You are not stupid. We are all learning together. Initially, I had no idea what the blogging levels were either. As our teacher has said, I plan to be like a sponge and suck all the information I can. The wealth of knowledge is enormous, and hopefully, I inherit some of it.
