Citylife's Blog

http://community.livejournal.com/citylife/?skip=20

I checked blogger.com and the one right under that and I just didn't like them. So I clicked on livejournal and searched for a couple topics like softball and stupid things that I like but I didn't find a blog that particularly interested me... until I searched for "travel". I love travel and I hope to go EVERYWHERE when I grow up... i've been to Italy and I loved it but I don't just love overseas travel I love to travel to major cities like New York and Washington... and even Philadelphia even though living so close to it has made me bored iwith it. So I found the blog of Citylife and it was perfect! This blog is mostly pictures but that made me love it even more! I love pictures as well as cities and I feel like I won't be able to help checking this blog frequently. There are pictures from all over the world and others post their pictures on Citylife's blog as well and they are some amazing pictures. The first picture I saw was of children in Atlanta playing in a fountain and I thought the picture perfectly captured city life. There are hundreds of pictures that have been posted since 2001 when the blog was established. I have no idea how many posts I viewed but once I started I had trouble stopping. I don't like staring at the computer for long periods of time but that is usually when I am reading. Looking at all of the pictures was actually enjoyable.
I grew up in Norristown, PA which is kinda a mini Philadelphia and I remember when we would open the fire hydrants on hot days and play in the water. Pictures from cities all over the world are located throughout the blog. The purpose of this blog is simply to serve as a venue for people with the interest of photography and large cities to look at and post their own photos. When looking for personal information on CityLife I could not find any. Where the name is listed he/she refers to themself as "City Life" and there is no other information listed except for their personal interests. Therefore I don't there is any danger associated with this blog. The blogger has protected themself very wisely and offers nothing more than a fabricated screenname. There are no tags on the site but most of the pictures are labeled with which city is pictured. I could be wrong... but I didn't see any tagging.

Eric Herrera:

I share your interest for travel. I really hope I can get out of the US for once and visit a place like Paris or Egypt or even Canada! (Drinking age is 19 over there I believe!) I have never been outside the US of A and I think now that I am away from from parents, I have gotten used to being on my own, and that I feel ready to embark on a trip overseas with some good and trustworthy friends of mine and have crazy great fun.
