After reading the article on Israel's strategy in Gaza and many other articles on the problems over there, I realized how important it is that Israel stresses the cooperation of Hamas. Thomas Friedman brings up a good point saying that Israel is trying to "educate" Hamas and might have achieved its goal. However, Obama really needs to get a move on with his Israel policy. For me this is a very important issue and with Obama not taking a stand on it really annoys me. In addition, Hamas really needs to show its willingness to make peace with Israel.
