Christina Mercedes Binz
-I’m currently in my senior year at The Pennsylvania State University, and I’ll be graduating May 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations, a minor in Psychology, and an emphasis in the John Curley Center for Sports Journalism. My time at Penn State has been amazing, and I feel privileged to be a part of the PSU community.
-I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, also known as the City of Champions. This place has everything a girl could need - great people, the best sports teams in the country (3 Stanley Cups, 6 Superbowls, and a nice baseball park), amazing food (visit Pirmanti’s and order a sandwich with fries and coleslaw on it), and a beautiful skyline. This city will always have my heart.
-I’m fairly positive that I have the best family in the entire world. My parents and older brother are smart, compassionate, fun people who are always there for me and are the parts of life that make life truly great. My extended family is just as important to me - including me grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. I am so blessed to have these wonderful people in my life everyday.
-Very Short List of Likes: my Mac, my LG Venus, movies (LOVE chick flicks), music (Jack Johnson & John Mayer mostly), good tv, the earth, technology, social media, reading & writing, taking pictures, being in pictures, hockey, peace signs & all they stand for, sunsets, stars, take-out, and symmetry.
