Santa Clara Vanguard
One of the premier Drum Corps in the United States, the Santa Clara Vanguard is known for their relaxed playing and marching. However, as relaxed as they are, these guys can lay down some notes. Compiled here is a sample of some of Calvin's favorite SCV Percussion exercises.
Penn State Blue Band
As one of the few Black members in the Penn State Marching Blue Band, Calvin is proud to hold a spot, and perform in front of the 110,000 fans that crowd in Beaver Stadium every game weekend during the fall semester. For your enjoyment I have collected a few of the well known songs performed by the Blue Band on game day.
Penn State Indoor Drumline
Since Calvin has played marching percussion from the tenth grade on, joining PSID was a natural decision for him. The group competes in both the Winter Guard International (WGI) and Mid-Atlantic Percussion Society (MAPS) circuits, allowing Calvin to compete on a national level and return to his home area to help inspire the next generation of percussionists. Collected here are a few songs and exercises from his years in the ensemble.
