Welcome to my middle school music page. Three things are listed below. The first is a sample of my teaching. In this lesson, I warmed up the children in a seventh grade general music class so that they would be ready to sing. The second is a link to a mini-unit that my teaching partner, Sarah Slabinski, and I put together on the folk music of the Ukraine. The final link is a lesson plan on world drumming that Ms. Slabinski and I wrote. This lesson teaches the kids about the instruments, the music, and respect for everything and everyone in the classroom.
