Those who wish to sing always find a song.
~Proverb

In Choral Methods, we had the opportunity to work on rehearsing a piece with small lab choir.  The choir consisted of about 10 volunteer singers at various levels of vocal training.  I chose to rehears the piece Lord for Thy tender mercy's sake  attributed to John Hilton, the elder (formerly attributed to Richard Farrant).  Above is a sample of the final rehearsal in front of the group before our informal concert.

This experience has allowed me to become more comfortable in front of a group of people.  We rehearsed on a weekly basis and were allowed ten minutes of rehearsal time with the choir.  There were six conductors in the class and we all rehearsed pieces of varying styles and time periods.  The most positive experience that I gained from this class was working with my colleagues.  We all brought something new to the table and it was exciting for all of us to share our ideas and learn from and with each other.
