Craps Systems
If you are tired of just playing one type of bet over and over again, or are just unsure of how well you are playing, craps systems might have the solution you are looking for. These systems combine a variety of bets to offer you something extra. Some offer low, low house edges, while others focus on making your craps playing experience as much fun as possible. Here are a couple of the most popular craps systems out there.
The Martingale System
The Martingale System works well in most kinds of betting. It only demands that you keep increasing your bet by at least 2x after each loss, until you eventually win. By doing this your overall net winnings will be equal to the first bet you made.
This used to only be limited by the size of your bankroll, but casinos saw this as a risk and have taken action to make the Martingale System useless. By having table maximums no larger than 5x the size of the table minimums you can only make a few wagers before you are maxed out. For instance if the minimum is 5 dollars and the maximum is 25 dollars, then your first bet should be $5. Then your second is $10, and your third is $20. Your fourth bet would have to be $40 but the maximum is $25 so are done.
The Iron Cross
The Iron Cross is pretty simple. You make a field bet, and then three place bets: on the 5, the 6, and the 8. By doing this, you can only really lose out on the 7. Now this sounds amazing but the numbers don't lie. This system is only made up of bets that still have house edges, so it has a house edge as well. The real bonus this has to offer is that it keeps you play axciting. Every roll you are either winning or losing, and you spend no time waiting for a point to be rolled.
