Administrator Ahhhh Gold, such power, such furocity! Well.... Maybe not so much.... In a darkworld deck this card is a must! You should consider running 2-3 in a pure out dark world deck. The support for this decktype goes without question, and you will seldom be burdened with actually sacrificing a monster, in D/W deck this scores a perfect 5.

Now... For the standard play and use... This card is indeed good. It combos well with Graceful Charity, and is a solid choice if you have to actually make the tribute. Now you might be thinking, its not just a free special summon, it kills 2 cards! Well let me tell you, that effect is going to go off maybe 1 out of 100 games. The only commonly played card of your opponent for discard would be confiscation, and they will never pick this card out of your hand, and those times where its the last card in your hand late game and your opponent actually played confiscation? Thats the 1 out of 100 :)

Though this card is good, its just overshadowed my many other cards that should be used in place of it as a tribute. Mobius the frost Monarch, Jinzo, Zaborg the thunder Monarch, Dark Magician of Chaos just to name a few.  The effect being used with graceful chairty, though powerful, will not come around often. The odds are just against you. Great card in casual and very good in tradional however.

Here we have the king of the new Dark World theme (or shall I say Wu-Lord). This monster has a very nice effect. If it is discarded by a card effect, it gets special summoned right back to the field. Also, if it gets discarded by your opponent's effect (with the lot of Dons and Reapers being used), you can then destroy 2 of your opponent's cards. Either way could bring a major hurt on your opponent. A big plus with this effect could be the use of his lower ranked pal Brron, Mad King of Dark World. Simply get to the opponent's life points with Brron, and you now have a Goldd on the field to reinforce your attack squad.

It has 2300 attack, which isn't too bad for a level 5 monster, especially with his discard effect. Just be cautious with the Goblin Attack Forces that may want to go in for a simple kamikaze.Being Dark/Fiend is another plus as these characteristics seem to bold well in today's game. Also with the amount of Dark World support within the theme, this could be one monster to be cautious of.

This card would bold extremely well when used in a Dark World themed deck as there are many ways to manipulate their discard effects. In a regular advanced format deck, it would probably be much better to side-deck it, since there are many other one-tribute monsters that could easily replace him, and with better effects. And if you notice your opponent likes keeping you controlled with your hand via Dons or Reapers, etc. (which seem to be becoming much more common), in he comes to save the day.

Administrator ok...so this card is like woah o.o, 2300 attack, 1 offering, meh not owrht shinyness. But then ZOMG IT HAS AN EFFECT. then we're all like ZOMG THIS CARD PWNS. then we think..is it worth it? this card makes hand control pointless and is great with graceful. but still is it worth it?

well in a dark world deck, this is a must. it's liek the pwning card and will cream many people. and it can be used effectively in the side deck. not main deck worthy unless in DW. So i say side deck it vs hand control/disruption and go from there. but still its secondary effect i good, but worthless without support (support being the opponent) anyway
5/5 in DW 2.5/5 in any old deck
