Career/Educational Goals

The next twelve months will be spent focusing on finishing college. I will be entering my senior year at Penn State Behrend in the fall. I plan on completing all my requirements here in the next two semesters and graduating in the spring of 2005. While completeing my degree requirements, I will also be working as an intern at The Center for E-business and Advanced Information Technology. I am currently working there part-time as an intern. I will be a full-time intern over the summer, and then back to a part time intern during the school year. While working at the Center, I will be completeing a database project and starting a new project where I will examine new products for our company. I hope to dedicate most of my time over the next twelve months to these two tasks. I hope to graduate from college, perform well at my job, and also enjoy my life outside of school and work.
My goals for the next four years center around starting my career. After graduating from college with an MIS degree, I hope to find a job in the Information Technology field. I hope to find a job that offers a combination of security, both job-wise and financially, challenge, enjoyment, and promotional opportunites. I do not have a certain location where I would like to work. At this point in my life, I am open to any job location. I enjoy living here in Erie, however I am willing to go where my job takes me. After the next four years, I hope to have my career on the right track, and I hope to be enjoying life to its fullest.
My long term goas are like that of most college graduates. I hope to have a successful career that rewards my hard work throughout school. I also hope that I will be promoted thoughout my career. Shifting from my career, I also hope to be married and start a family. I would like to have a lifestyle where I can settle down and enjoy spending time with my family.
