Hello! Welcome to Carol Dwyer's Home Page. I retired in January 2006 from my position as a Senior Instructional Designer with Teaching and Learning with Technology/Education Technology Services, Information Technology Services , Penn State. I enjoyed working with an energetic staff of instructional designers, instructional programmers, multimedia specialists, and graphic developers as we helped Penn State faculty use technologies to improve and transform students' learning environments.

I also was an Affiliate Associate Professor with Instructional Systems, College of Education, Penn State. My main faculty activity was serving on graduate student committees and mentoring students who consult with faculty clients.

Professional Responsibilities

Faculty and administrator for the Technology Learning Assistants program and ANGEL Tutors program.

ANGEL course management system documentation, testing, and support .

Manager and instructional designer for faculty projects.

Develop and teach seminars on using technology to support teaching and learning.

Consult on instructional design and technologies that support teaching and learning.

Develop, maintain, or jointly develop Web sites on teaching and learning with technology.

Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies.

Collaborate with other Penn State units.
