A little bit about me…….

Since graduating with a bachelor's degree in architecture in 1998, I worked as an architect, tried my hand at teaching and attempted at running my own architecture & visualization firm before joining Penn State in the fall of 2001. Somewhere along this time, I got more interested in understanding the design process [especially with computers] than designing itself. My research interests include multimodal representations/ visualization and user interfaces for design, VR [as a design tool] and usability. I am a PhD candidate in the College of Communications in the Media Effects track.
