Study Abroad
My two major goals as an undergraduate are to earn three IST internships and study abroad in Australia. Through early planning and organization, I completed both these goals and decided to pursue minors in Business / Liberal Arts and International Studies as well.
With the support of my academic advisor, I started planning for education abroad when I was a freshman. My degree roadmap has been customized since then to take full advantage of the opportunities available at Penn State and abroad.
What I Did
I moved to Sydney, Australia for 7 months to study at the University of New South Wales and intern with Credit Suisse.
Academics
UNSW is one of the top teaching and research universities in Australia. It has developed strong research relationships and student exchange programs with over 200 universities worldwide, enrolling over 7500 international students.
The main campus is situated near the business hub of Australia's largest city, providing easy access to a wide range of academic, cultural, and social activities.
Working Abroad
Since the UNSW semester conflicts with the timing of most US-based internship programs, I dedicated myself to researching and speaking with companies about opportunities in Sydney.
International work experiences is a critical part of my professional development and represents a unique chance for growth as an undergraduate.
