Welcome
I'm a doctoral student in the Psychology department at Penn State University (minoring in Computational Science, concurrently completing Masters in Applied Statistics). Few psycholinguists find their first inspiration in an electronics lab, but that's where I started. As a sophomore in high school I got interested in robotics, which led me to new questions and ideas about human cognition. As an undergraduate in Psychology, I studied visual psychophysics and got my feet wet in neural network simulations. Today, I am studying under Dr. Ping Li in the Brain, Language, and Computation Lab. Broadly speaking, my current work is in language learning, bilingualism, and computational models. Please feel free to visit my Research page or my page at the BLC Lab for more details.
My Personal page has a few pictures from various hiking adventures. Perhaps this photo of my cat will pique your curiousity.
