My first shack...sorry for the poor lighting. My first radio (after Dad's Zenith Transoceanic) was this Realistic Astronaut 6.

In 1974, I added this Realistic DX-160 (shown here with an extremely young me). The world opened up...

Here's the shack circa 1978...the addition of the digital readout (assembled from a kit) made out-of-band reception a reality.

1984: I added new receivers as seen here...the Panasonic RF-2900 portable, the SX-190, a FRG-7000 and, finally, an Icom R70 (which I still use today).
