PowerPoint
In my classes I make particular use of PowerPoint presentations, especially when presenting and practicing grammatical concepts. Not only does Power Point enable me to cleanly organize and streamline information that can often be confusing in textbooks, but it also provides the opportunity to easily reformulate the presentation of grammar as structured input. This input can be easily made comprehensible, meaning-bearing, relevant to the lives of my students; all important factors in effective second language instruction.
By clicking on the image below you can access a PowerPoint presentation I created to introduce the Spanish present subjunctive, when used to express desired influence over another's actions.
