I have been thinking a lot about this video from Jim Groom's Edtech Survivalist. Not thinking about the message of the video so much, but the way the message is expressed so effectively using video. I've noticed a lot of video cropping up in the blogs I read over the past few weeks. I like it.

I couldn't agree more. Jim's video are a very interesting approach to sharing a story. I applaud his creativity. But to your point, I am seeing video the same way you are ... as an emerging way to connect with and engage an audience. I've been trying to make short videos of more stuff in my life since sometime this summer. I purchased a small Cannon point and shoot that has video capability and I've used it a ton all summer. I used it during the Cafe ETS installation and really liked the ease of use -- for both technical and story telling reasons. I think we'll see more of video as a form of simple expression in the coming months.
