POSTING:
One of the multiple services offered by ANGEL is the possibility of posting materials online. I use this option to provide my students with all in-class materials and information. After presenting a particular lesson, I post the PowerPoint and all handouts on Angel. Then, students can download them for reviewing, both for clarifying questions and studying for the exam.

TESTING:
Angel is also a powerful grading tool. An user-friendly display provides the instructor with the oportunity to use different quizz formats as multiple choice, fill-in-the-blanks or maching. Also, it allows the use of an html editor which allows adding not only rich formatted text but also link othe files into activities, as image files, video players, flash files or other Action Script. The following are some examples:

GRADING:
Keeping track of the students progress is eassy with Angel's grading tool. It contains the relevant information to the students scores. Both students and instructor have access to this tool. This way, on the one hand, the students can keep track of their own progression and have access to the areasin which they need more help or study. On the other hand, the instructor can observe the progression of students individually and as a group. This offers the instructor the personalization of instruction when students ask for help or clarification on difficult areas.

COMMUNICATING
Another extremely useful aspect of Angel is its application as a communication device. This communication (often between an instructor and students) can come in many forms. For example, e-mail and message boards provide an opportunity for two-way communication.

Finally, another useful tool for cummunication is the calendar tool, which allows the instructor to provide detailed information to the students about what they are expected to do each day of the semester. If used in advanced, this tool shows a good organization of the course and an excellent impression of the organizational skills of the instructor in the course.
