Liza chose greyed pastels for her wedding canopy.
The 5-foot-by-7-foot rectangle in the middle will eventually be part of a bed quilt.
After the wedding, the huppah was hung on a wall during the reception.

About the design:

Liza likes stars and the Storm at Sea pattern; Aaron likes fish and cats.
There are Flying Geese blocks -- geese mate for life.
There's a swan; swans mate for life, too.

The intertwined D and G at the upper right are the initials of their last names;
the design is based on the Double Wedding Ring pattern.

Liza is a mathematics teacher. The spiral at the bottom right is called
a Square Root Spiral.
