MorningReport is a mobile application that integrates multiple business information resources, like emails, calendar, tasks, etc., and highlight the important items for quick access. My work is try to understand users' information needs, their critieria of highlights identification and evaluate the application. Multiple research methodologies are used in this study. We interviewed early adopters of a prototype mobile business dashboard, distributed an online survey, and conducted a lab study of an improved dashboard that provided highlight selection methods. We also deployed the improved dashboard and studied its actual use. The results identify methods that users prefer for selecting business highlights and demonstrate that users find value in highlights within a mobile business dashboard.
