Music
I grew up with the classical music both of my parents loved, so at age 9 I was excited to finally join my elementary school's Strings program where I learned the violin through the Suzuki method. I played through elementary, middle, and high school and was originally accepted to University of Portland with a music scholarship.
I've since changed career paths, but now play in the Nittany Valley Symphony, still on the same violin I've had since I grew into a full size at age 10. Sometimes I play at weddings and other small events if requested. I also sing--love singing jazz and miss being in a jazz group--play guitar, and dabble in piano playing.
