About

This site is mainly a place for me to write a bit about my professional life, mainly for three purposes.
  • First, so I can spend some time reflecting on my work, what it means to me, and how it fits in with a greater vision of education and lifelong learning.
  • Second, so I have a record of what I am working on and how it impacts the university.  It's always good to go back and read when I'm feeling a little down.
  • Third, (and possibly the most important reason) is to share what I am doing and learning in an open way for anyone who wants to read.  In addition to the two items above, blogging as professional development can be an opportunity to lend a hand in the development of other people.
