About Alok Saboo

Alok is a PhD candidate in Marketing at the Smeal College of Business, Pennsylvania State University. He is currently interested in modeling strategic issues for young firms. His dissertation focuses on value of marketing strategies for IPO firms. One of Alok's papers has been invited for 3rd round of reviews at Marketing Science; he also has another paper under review at Journal of Marketing Research.  

Alok holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Mumbai University and an MBA from IMI, New Delhi, India. Prior to joining the PhD program in 2007, Alok worked as a Product Manager at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, and as a CRM Consultant at Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.
