Sailing the "Cybertanic" through team activities

Date: Wednesday, November 19
Time: Noon to 1:15pm
Location: 201A IST Building

The topic of our next Teaching Community session calls to mind John Cage's madrigal piece: "The ship that sailed in the month of May... sunk."

Although we don't teach in 113 in May, faculty and students tell stories of "sinking ships" throughout the rest of the year.

What are the dynamics to be aware of in the "Cybertanic"?
How can we use in-class activities to keep the course afloat?
What does it take to manage team interactions in a lecture hall with no center aisle?
