Come to Eiche Library to check out our Banned Books Week display, featuring many books that have been banned or challenged in libraries and classrooms across the county. Guides are available to help explain why titles were challenged.
In honor of National Library Week--a time to celebrate our nation's libraries--we thought we would make a special display in Eiche featuring the services and collections we offer.
As part of the display we are featuring some of our new books on careers--detailed information you're not likely to find online--including:
+ career paths for your major
+ books about what it's like to work in your chosen field
+ books on choosing a career based on your interests (for those who don't know what they want to be when they grow up)
Please come in and browse! (And ask if you don't see your major or career.)
Don't forget to thank the library staff on National Library Worker Day, Tuesday April 15.
Students!
On Wednesday, September 19 (coincidentally, International Talk Like a Pirate Day) we will be hosting an Open House from 12 (noon) to 5 pm. Drop by any time and explore all the great things the library has to offer!
Students will receive an official library-approved mug, plus opportunities for prizes and other treats.
