My roomate has been going down for two years, and finally convinced me to tag along this year. I've heard nothing but awesome things and am real pumped to get down there and see what the hype is all about.

Incredible! It strikes me odd to see partying for such an event. I mean I'm a long time tailgater and I've tailgated for stranger things (High school Golf tournament, Chorus concert, etc) but never would I think that such a prestiges event and accomplishment to run in would be associated with such a party scene. I've been to a couple of tracks myself (mainly Kentucky and Tennessee area)and never did I experience this. Very interesting!

First of all I thought you said cupcakes. I am bad at words. But I never even thought that a horse race could bring in such partying. Pretty interesting stuff. I remember I won a dollar when I bet smarty jones would choke in that last race.

It seems as if many shows are beginning to "air" online in an "on-demand" sort of fashion, for free! I almost don't even need cable T.V. anymore.

I really admire what you did over break Z. I did something similar when I went to Hungry...building apartments for children that have nowhere to go. It's a great experience and it'll stay with you for the rest of your life. Good job!!!

It sounds like you had a really immersive experience down in Miss. I recall when I was a young lad traveling through the recent wreckage of the Mt. Pinatubo eruption in the Philippines. The damage was devastating and haunting to say the least. It's inspiring to see that you can help make a difference despite all the hardships mother nature can produce.

That video was very funny. I think that online dating can make a relationship with someone more awkward than it needs to be. More often than not you feel more comfortable talking with someone online than you do face to face since you have a digital barrier. If these sites were truly concerned with you finding your soulmate then they shouldn't be charging!

Though this was a controversial debate I honestly don't believe that DRM is and will ever be a significant problem. It has never hindered me from doing what I wanted or listening to music. So I'm not sure what the big deal is.

Unfortunately, I agree that Dane Cook is a sell out. I love his stand up but hate his movies. I thought "employee of the month" was going to be a funny movie, but it was terrible. Maybe Dane Cook should make movies that are rated R so he can swear and make vulgar expressions instead of those stupid romantic comedies with dumbass actresses (I think Jessica Alba is super hot, but one of the worst actresses in the biz, but that's another rant). Now on the thief comment, I'm not sure about. I watched the video comparing Louis C.K., and although a lot of the jokes were similar, but Dane Cook puts his own spin on the jokes that makes them unique. I think Dane should stick with stand-up and leave that romantic comedies for Matthew McConaughey.

I had some interesting feelings towards him as well. I also did enjoy him when he first started, but now I think he is a sell out and is only after the money. Once he starred in a movie and an HBO series, I knew that he was a sell out; especially when his material was the same for over 3 years. Dane cook is a sell out

Z...I love to board!!!! I own a sweet Burton Troop 2006, that had unfortunately been sitting in my closet all season due to the lack of snow in PA :(. I'm in PSSC (Penn State Snowboard Club) as you probably already know. I love the article/links/pictures!!
