Hey everyone,
Sorry I haven't been able to post anything in a while, it's been pretty crazy. Let's just say that everything that you have heard about the course load for engineering is true. The second semester is pretty much the make or break period for engineers at Penn State and I can tell you that they like to weed many people out. Last semester I looked to weekends as a time to relax and not worry about school where as now I look forward to the weekend just to get caught up on work. Work is seemingly endless and it tests your resolve of how much you want to be an engineer every day so if I could offer any advice to someone coming into college, I would tell them not choose engineer as his or her major unless they are completely dedicated to studying. All that being said, it's still worth all the work now for the benefits of a great, well-paying career later in life. This week I have my first calculus II and physics tests so it should be interesting to see how everything turns out.
Talk to you all later,
Adam
