I constantly get made fun of by people when eating peanut
butter. I've been known to make "peanut butter lollipops" as they're called in
my family. It's literally just eating a spoonful of peanut butter and for some
reason this is strange to everyone who sees me do it. I always figured it was
bad for me but then I looked it up and realized it's actually good for you.
The common misconception about peanut butter is that the amount of fat in it is bad for you; however, the fat is a heart-healthy monounsaturated fat. Peanut butter, when consumed in the correct portions, can even help you lose weight. It is packed with protein, fiber and vitamins that are very beneficial.
It has also been proven that peanut butter can help prevent heart- disease, diabetes, and others. It is also said that those who have peanut butter in their diets have been shown to be able to lose weight and keep it off. As long as they don't eat any more than 6 tablespoons a day, that is.
