Men "breast feeding"

Please tell me you watched Meet the Fockers. The part that caught my attention was when Robert DeNiro wore the fake breasts to feed his grandson. That got my attention because it got me wondering if men can breastfeed. According to the World Wide Web, there are many fathers who feel helpless when their kids are first born and want to help their wives as much as possible. One way they want to help is by breastfeeding.... I know what you're thinking. IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?! The answer to that question is yes, although it is a tentative yes. Men do have milk ducts and some mammary tissue. This allows men to lactate. Although men can do this, it is quite hard to produce enough milk to feed a baby. Another factor to the phenomenon is that men don't have the necessary hormones to produce the same milk for babies as women. Maybe the best way to help is to buy one of those fake "manary glands" from Meet the Fockers. IF you have no idea what I'm talking about, watch this video.

This article is very interesting because on TV the other day I heard of a drug that causes men to grow breasts. It may seem hard to believe, but the drug Risperdal is actually linked to enlarged breasts in men. Risperdal is an anti-psychotic medication that works by changing the effects of chemicals in the brain. It is commonly used to treat diseases such as bipolar and schizophrenia, as well as autistic children. Recently, studies have shown this drug to enlarge breast tissue in men, and eventually lead to breasts. To learn more about this hard to believe drug, click the link below.

Very interesting post. Didn't think that was even possible, let alone have someone blog about it! It's weird, but cool that men can technically breast feed. Thinking of seeing men breast feed babies is a weird sight to think of. This video is of a guy in Sweden who actually breast fed his baby after "pumping" every 3 hours!:

I think that your post was creative and definitely a great way to think outside the box and be creative. Often times people do not think about male lactation, and it isn't something people talk about, hardly ever. I read an article/ advertisement about male's wanting to assist their baby's mothers with the care of the child. This phenomenon is referred to as "breastfeeding envy". In order to help these new mothers, someone invented "Mr.Milker" which allows men to breastfeed their children. I found it to be rather hilarious, but creative none the less.
