Oh no, not another hangover!!

Ranked amongst the prestigious, Penn State has found itself at the top of the list once again. While we take pride in being ranked amongst the greatest for research, academics and sports, you'll also find Penn State is not too far behind the pact for "Best Party School". Although our rankings may fluctuate from year to year, one thing that can't be denied is that we party hard every chance we get. With this constant partying, we have all experienced that epic party and woke up with a hangover the next day.

We all think that we know the perfect remedy to cure our hangovers but this
article produced by Fox News think that they know what it takes. This article list the the 7 best cures for a hangover. I think as college students, it wouldn't hurt to compare strategies. Based on the article suggestions, it seems as tho fruits, vegetables and coffee are best for curing hangovers. The vitamins and sugars provided in many of these supplements will help to restore hydration, break down the enzymes and toxins of the alcohol.

Personally, whenever I have a hangover I just eat some extremely greesy food and wash it down with a ginger ale. Although this remedy may not be the best, it gets the job done and within hours I'm all better. As college students, what do you do to overcome a hangover?

We can all exchange ideas as to how to overcome a hangover but in the meantime is here a tip to avoid one. Know your limits and stay away from the solo cups because you don't want to end up like
this!!

This post was obviously something most college students can relate too so I definitely enjoyed reading it. Personally, my cure for a hangover is also plenty of greasy food and cold water, but have you heard of the new "hangover pill." I don't know much about it but my friend has tried it and says it really works. I wonder what scientifically needs to be put in one of those pills to actually cure a hangover. Maybe it's a placebo effect and you end up curing yourself. I would love to find an easy remedy such as a pill to fix those awful hangover feelings but find it so hard to believe it could really work. Here is a website that talks about the pill in more depth if you want to look into it!

As Paige said, this post was definitely relatable. Normally I'm the same way: greasy breakfast and lots of water. However, I found on this website a list of remedies that people think work, but don't necessarily do. If you want to check it out, here's the link! http://www.cnn.com/2010/HEALTH/12/30/hangover.remedies/index.html

Hangovers are different for everyone, and the severity is also something to really take into consideration. Sometimes, the only rememdy could be time because you went a little too hard and there's no way to remedy that. But the remedys I have heard of are completely varied and I think that different things work for different people. For some, mass amounts of coffee may do the trick but others need protein and vitamins. Personally, I think if you chug a water bottle before going to bed and every time you wake up throughout the night, you should be pretty hydrated in the morning! I find it really interesting the lengths that people will go to get rid of hangovers: this article even suggests drinking more!

I really liked this blog because it was something all of us can relate to. I have heard from numerous people that if you want to get rid of a hangover then drink coffee and eat greasy foods as you stated in the post. I have also heard to eat bread because it will help absorb if you wake up feeling pretty bad. I agree that the best thing is to drink a bottle of water before going to sleep and then drink more water after waking up. I found that this works best for me. one article even mentions exercising, but I think that would just cause me to feel more sick.
