Initial Blog Post, Yay to Science!!!

Hey everyone! My name is Carissa Nicole Kehoe. I'm a junior here at Penn State University and I am Penn State Proud!!! I was born and raised in Kingston, Pennsylvania- representing the 570!!! I am majoring in Psychology and I am absolutely in love with it. I've always been so intrigued by the mind and the way living things think. Science has always been very fascinating to me, but Psychology has my heart, so that's why I am not a Science major. But I still think Science rules!

I decided to take this course because I do have a strong interest in Science, and I would love to know more about it because there's so much to learn! I've heard nothing but positive feed back about this class and the professor as well. I'm excited for this semester and hopefully once I've completed the course I could have an educated conversation with my Science obsessed roommate, lol!

A little about myself: I'm a Leo, I wish I was a Disney Star, & I go on tour a lot.

My face.

Oh & if there's any other blogging addicts in the building, follow my Tumblr! :) I'm almost at 2,000 followers, woo!!!

I agree with you, the mind and living things are very interesting! I also wish I was a Disney star as well. I am curious about where you tour and what you do. Do you play music? I haven't toured but its something I'd like to do. I haven't left the tri-state area when it comes to playing music.

I've been on tour for about 4 years now and been to so many different states all along the east coast and a countless number of cities. The furthest I've drove to see live music was 13 hours in Illinois. Maine and Vermont were definitely my favorite states to travel to, they are both so beautiful. What I do is save up almost every dollar I make and travel with my favorite bands with my closest friends and have the time of my life. When I get paid I think, "Okay how many moe. shows can I see with this?", haha. It may sound pathetic to other people who don't get it, but it makes perfect sense to me and it's what makes me happy and keeps me sane. I don't play music, I just see music, but I wish I played an instrument. If you want to go on tour and experience what life's really about, go see Phish. You'll thank me later. :)
