First Post!

Hi, my name is Jenna Seco, and I am a sophomore here from Northern New Jersey. I am double majoring in Psychology and Public Relations with a potential french minor, emphasis on the potential because I doubt I'll do it.

I'm taking this course because I needed a science class and this was the only one that didn't make me think I would rip my hair out. I like how it seems that we will be learning a lot of different topics as opposed to spending weeks learning different types of equations. I think this is a refreshing way of looking at science in the world and it will be very entertaining.

The reason I'm not majoring in science is because I find science to be painful. In high school I did well in my science courses, but it was torture for me. I was excellent at physics, but I hated going to that class every single day. I hated memorizing things and equations and it just did not interest me. Science never appealed to me, I always considered myself to be more of an English person.

I'm a huge foody and love cooking, so if you want to follow my Instagram or twitter and see all my obnoxious food pictures, feel free! I'm living in an apartment this year so I plan to cook almost every single day. As I'm writing this post, I have 3 layer cookie dough, oreo and brownie bars in the oven for my friends birthday.

Here's a preview:

I am a Psychology major as well! I also love food and cooking! I can also relate with the feeling that science can at times be very painful! However, since you enjoy food and cooking here is a link for an awesome recipe that you might enjoy!

I am planning on majoring in Public Relations too! I completely agree, this should be a refreshing way to learn about science. I hated memorization as well. High school science was painful because of all the memorization, that is why I am taking this class! I am a freshman, so seeing that amazing looking food is making me so jealous! The commons food should look like that! I love dessert and i found this on pinterest maybe you can try it:
