Hello SC 200!

My name is Danielle Cooney and I am a Freshman here at Penn State! I come from South Jersey and am in the College of Communications. I hope to become an Advertising Major my sophomore year but that means a lot of hard work (such as maintaining a 3.3 GPA) which I am willing to do. My passions are dance and getting involved with my community! I also like to spend time with my friends and take pictures with my photogenic Springer Spaniel, Ziggy. I am super loud and spirited so I can't wait for our first home game!

Now that you know a little bit about me, I'll get to answering Andrew's questions. I was required to take a science course as one of my gen eds but unfortunately was not a science fan. I managed to get decent grades throughout high school but was really hesitant towards picking a science class for my freshman year here at PSU. Thankfully, one of the advisors in the college of comm. recommended that I take this course because it normally makes the non-science lovers actually like science. So here I am! I'm not planning to be a science major because it is not one of my direct passions, and honestly I wouldn't be very good at it. I love communicating, writing and studying media which is why I chose Communications instead.

I hope you enjoyed my blog, and if you didn't I'm sure this picture of my dog will make you feel better!

Hi Danielle! I'm Kerri, and I plan on studying Advertising here at Penn State as well! I felt the same way about choosing a science class, but now I'm not as worried! I love the picture, and I found some other funny dog pictures here!
