Science is Applicable, Chemistry is Not

Hi, my name is Jenelle and my intended major is Criminal Psychology. This class was my first choice to fulfill that Gen Ed requirement you all seem to have mentioned, just because it wasn't a lab science.  Shockingly enough, there is such a great correlation between SC200, Psychology, Philosophy, and English. I can apply the science statistics or not, to the different classes that cover similar topics.
Therefore, I have landed on the chemistry.gifconclusion that science is not useless, except for maybe chemistry 110.  Although, I do think science has its uses, it's still too confined, as far as the classes you have to take to earn a degree, for me to major in it.  Instead I'll take my fun and credits of Certainty and Controversy, and say till later to science.

I completely agree with you. Science is necessary but I still don't like it. Chemistry and physics were my worse subjects in high school. By the way, I think your major is very interesting. I watch a lot of
Criminal Minds so criminal psychology interests me. Although, real life is probably nothing like the show.

Good luck in your college career!

Yes, the show Criminal Minds is way different than real life. In reality criminal psychologist rarely work out in the field, especially as closely as the characters in the show work with the FBI
Although, that show was the inspiration in the direction in the "criminal" aspect of my psychological pursuits.
