Hey, everyone! My name is Katie Zurcher and I'm a sophomore from Pittsburgh, PA.

pnc park.jpgWhile I definitely have an appreciation for science and find it all to be pretty fascinating, I never had an interest to study it for myself and become a scientist. I feel like my previous schooling took all of the fun and curiosity out of studying science and I just became interested in other subjects like English and history, which led me to major in Public Relations.

I decided to take this course as one of my science requirements simply because the course description made it sound like my least intimidating option. But after seeing the list of possible topics and how much of the grade is writing (which I love), I'm really happy to be in this class.

Hey Katie! It's such a cool coincidence that we're both sophomores and PR majors! We also have some pretty similar reasons to be taking this class (went with the least scary option). I really like that this class does so much blogging too-it's such good experience for our major! I don't know if you're into fashion or not, but I thought I'd share one of my favorite fashion blogs with you, Cupcakes and Cashmere! Hope you enjoy! http://cupcakesandcashmere.com/
