First Post!

Hello! My name is Sarah Bolden and I'm a freshman here at Penn State. I live about 20 minutes outside of the wonderful city of Pittsburgh, PA, which means I'm obviously a huge fan of Mac Miller, Heinz ketchup, and the Steelers. One time I served Franco Harris soup at the restaurant I worked at. It was awesome. I love country music, Harry Potter, Pinterest, and baby animals.

I am currently enrolled in DUS, and I'm not entirely sure what I want to do with my life. Maybe something in broadcast journalism or communications, but one thing I know for sure is that I will not be pursuing anything that has to do with science or math. I don't plan on being a science major simply because I have always hated science, and science has always hFated me. In high school, I disliked biology, hated chemistry, and absolutely loathed physics, and I knew that if I had to take any of these courses in college I would probably hate my life forever. So when I was signing up for classes and trying to find a science I could take that wouldn't make me want to cry myself to sleep every night, I stumbled upon this little gem of a class. I heard a lot of good things about this class, like that is was for people who hated sciences and that much of our grade depended upon blogging, and I knew that this was a class I needed to take. Usually sciences bore me to death and put me right to sleep, but just by judging the first two classes that we've had so far, this class might just be able to hold my attention. I'm interested and excited to see what this class has in store!

Here is a picture of my best friends from high school and me (I'm the one on the left!)

Hey! I see you like small animals. I like cats and dogs. I had one but I had to give it away due to that my mom was allergic to it. So if you don't mind, I want to live my pet owning dreams through you haha. So for you, here's the funniest cat clip ever. Great post btw.

Hey Sarah!!
First of all, Heinz ketchup and Mac Miller are two of the world's greatest creations!! I totally agree with you about not liking science at all... especially biology. That class was just miserable for me in high school. Anyways, I share a mutual love of baby animals. I have a four-pound Malti-poo named Daisy who I miss more than anything at home! Here's a pic of her and I :)

Derp. That link doesn't work! So here is a different pic!
