I'm Anthony Robinson - welcome to my home on the web. I'm a Research Associate at Penn State. I currently work for the GeoVISTA Center and John A. Dutton e-Education Institute. My research has involved adapting geovisualization tools for use in epidemiology, interface design for geovisualization, and characterizing how users assemble and collect their analytical results. I teach Cartographic Design (Intro and Advanced) courses for the resident Geography program at Penn State, and in the Winter of '09 I began teaching for the online MGIS program for our e-Education Institute.

Last fall I redesigned the content for GEOG 588: Planning GIS for Emergency Management, and I've made the course available to anyone with internet access through our Open Educational Resources Initiative.
