  3. Parc de la Villette (1979-1997), 19th and 20th arrondissements. Bernard Tschumi.   1. Jardin des Halles (1985), 1st arrondissement.   6. Parc Citroën (1990-92), 15th arrondissement.  Alain Provost, Jean-Paul Viguier, Jean-François Jodry, Gilles Clément, Patrick Berger, landscape architects. Former site of the Citroën car factory.   7. La Promenade plantée (1992), 12th arrondissement. Jacques Vergely, Philippe Mathieux.  Also known as « La Coulée verte, » Former railway viaduct transformed into linear pedestrian walkway from the Bastille to the Parc de Vincennes.   2. Le Parc de Bercy (1995), 12th arrondissement.  Marylène Ferrand, Jean-Pierre Feugas, Bernard Leroy, Bernard Huet, architects; Philippe Raguin,Yann Le Caisne, landscape architects. Also known as the « Jardin de la Mémoire. » Located across from the Seine Rive Gauche project and the Bibliothèque François Mitterrand, on the former Bercy wine warehouse site.   1. Promenade Richard Lenoir (1996), 11th Arrondissement.  David Mangin, Jacqueline Osty.  Although the promenade above the buried Canal Saint Martin was created by Haussmann and Alphand, it was recently renovated after a long period of neglect.
  2. Jardin de l’Arche (1999?) La Défense.  Gilles Clément, Guillaume Geoffroy-Dechaume, landscape architects ; Paul Chemetov et Borja Huidobro, architects.  Garden created on a platform above the A14 autoroute, aligned with the monumental east-west axis to the West of the Grand Arche. 

Parks and Gardens under construction/renovation:

  2.  Paris Rive Gauche, 13th Arrondissement: Multiple gardens in this renovation of the sector around the Bibliotheque Francois Mitterrand, including the Jardin Georges Duhamel, the Jardins des Grands Moulins, square Marie Curie, jardin James Joyce, jardin Cyprian Norwid, as well as other green spaces meant to link these parks to each other, to the Jardin des Plantes, and to the Petite Ceinture.  http://www.parisrivegauche.com/, click on "environnement" and then "espaces verts."
